Building a Capsule Wardrobe

A capsule wardrobe is not about owning less for its own sake — it is about owning pieces that work together. Start with a neutral base: ivory, black, camel and a mid-blue denim.

Choose one great blazer, one coat, two pairs of trousers, a few tops in fabrics you love touching, and footwear that can move from day to evening.

Then edit. If a piece does not pair with at least three others, it is a guest, not a resident.
